Pokerstars - new PC, new install, no bet sizes???

I just installed Stars on a new PC, I downloaded the latest version straight off the website.

When I try to play or observe a table, I don't ever see the bet amounts next to the chips (including the blinds), I just see chips and no numbers. The pot size shows up okay, and the bet amounts are shown in the chat window if I have dealer messages set to "everything", but it's a huge pain having to read the chat window to see what is going on in a hand.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I tried emailing Stars legendary customer support for the first time, but the response I got was along the lines of "you need to download the latest version of the software!"

Oh... apparently displaying bet sizes is now an option, switched off by default.
