not sure if correct forum - need help with dual monitor set up!
ok heres the craic; have a nividia Geforce 5200... i downloaded some OLDER drivers which has better functions for split screens....(this has been fine btw, no issues with resolution etc)
So heres the problem; i currently have the monitor on my left and the TV to my right; Like a complete fool i merely switched the two of them without thinking that the mouse only pans left off the monitor.... How can i set it up so i have the monitor (with start button and taskbar) on the right and the tv on the left? thanks for your help; i opted to post here cos of all th pimped workstations every1 puts up thanks, ps feel free to PM me |

If you're in Windows, go to the Display control panel and switch the orientation of the screens. If this doesn't make sense, post again and I'll move to a Windows machine for more precise instructions.

Yes, you can actually just move the two monitors that should be showing inside your Display Properties -> Settings, i.e. the default Windows place to set your resolution, etc.
Moving them around, it changes where the mouse switches from one to the other. You can even put them on top of each other. |
