David's play looks pretty bad here. That said, if Guy is known for being a "nice guy", and doing dopey stuff like that, his push starts looking a lot better.

Guy seems to be a friendly fellow, but I play against enough fish at small stakes. I know how they play, and I don't need to see their hole cards in a high stakes game. It's unfortunate that people prefer watching Gold/Guy/Farha over good players.

Whenever I'm offered free money I firmly decline and proceed to burn some of my own money to show that I'm a big boy.

What a beautiful quote.

My point regarding bankrolls was that those who seem "properly" bankrolled (Laliberte for sure, Ivey, Brunson, Greenstein, Antonius) seem a lot more confident in their situations than those less bankrolled (Benyamine, Esfandiari) for starters.

...Now if only many of these players understood the lesson.

How can people complain that this was bad TV? It was some of the best TV i've ever seen. It was great seeing Guy be such a great guy (no pun intended), and fun to see Benyamine on the brink of suicide, but then get let off lightly.

Also, you can't seriously criticize Benyamine for accepting the offer. Can someone work out exactly how much equity Guy lost though?

No. It's unpossible.
