5.50 Early against a LAG (donk push on my part?)
Early in tourney. Villian has been limping with just about any two and bluffing at the pot. My stack is a little low because I took a hit with 99 against KTo.
I thought that I might push her off the hand. Was this push on my part a donk play? Please advise. It does not look good. You are probably drawing to 6 outs when you're called.
Fold. |

[/ QUOTE ] This should not have happened, unless you got money in with a set and he sucked out to the str8. [ QUOTE ] I thought that I might push her off the hand. Was this push on my part a donk play? [/ QUOTE ] You're gambling that she doesn't have anything made or a diamond, and you're laying more than 2 to 1 on that proposition. Your opponent has hit a pair that often, and you can add to that the times she has bet with a high diamond and will call you with the FD and overcard. Just fold. |
