strategically speaking --- what do you all think
about a flop call, turn min-raise, or some such
line as that, then a shove on the river once the
scare card showed up?

then, at least, no chop, presuming Villain folds
to your set of 7's.

BTW,

two 7s on the board and one in your hole cards = trips
two 7s in your hand and 1 on the board = set IMO

It's 50-100 spread buy in, most people buying in for 50. Played with dollar chips. Bleh, whatever.
