$22\'s - PP - 66 - BBL - Nice stacks, villain open raise btn. shove?
Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t200/t400 4 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t3720 Button: t6220 Hero: t6550 BB: t3510 Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, Button raises to t800, Hero raises all-in t6350, BB folds. No reads since I'm 9 tabling. But I think this is a push even if the villain is relatively tight, right? |

It looks good to me.
Is the minraise standard on button for this player ? |

Re: $22\'s - PP - 66 - BBL - Nice stacks, villain open raise btn. shove
I think it is good to okay. You have plenty of fold equity.
A couple things you have to be certain is: 1. What is villan's minraising range? Does he minraise a alot? 2. Does villan have a loose calling range? Will he call you with hands like KQ,AT,QJs? If villan is tight I would lean towards fold. If villan is loose, esp. if he is a loose raiser, I would shove this. Folding is okay here too as you are the Big stack. You can fold here and steal next hand. |

Re: $22\'s - PP - 66 - BBL - Nice stacks, villain open raise btn. shove
I fold here pretty much all the time.
Villain opening 22+, A2+, K8s+, QJ+, Q9s+, JTs (30%) and calling 10%: Push equity 28.25 Fold equity 29.71 Difference 1.46 Button should open over 50% to make this +ev. Note: when calling only 5% button should open 35%+ to push here Button calling 5%: [b]Button calling 10%:[b] |
