Re: 200NL, turn set facing 3 bet + river agg.
Given stack sizes and his river bet size, pushing looks good. However JJ, KQ and AA are good part of his range once he checked that dryish flop.

push turn > pushing now
calling turn and pushing river makes no sense. |

Raise more on turn (40-45), and push turn.

Given stack sizes and his river bet size, pushing looks good. However JJ, KQ and AA are good part of his range once he checked that dryish flop. [/ QUOTE ] He should rarely show up with KQ here, as most players would c-bet that on the flop. I think if we're beat here, he's got AA or JJ. However, there's a good chance he plays 77, AJ and AT this way, so I agree that we should push (on the turn preferably). |

[ QUOTE ] push turn > pushing now calling turn and pushing river makes no sense. [/ QUOTE ] why? [/ QUOTE ] Because we're ahead of his calling range on the turn so why not get the money in now? Honestly I don't think it makes a big difference in this hand, but in general it's better to get the money in right away in case (a) a scare card kills your action on the river, or (b) he drawing and won't pay off when he misses, but will get it in on the turn. |
