[ QUOTE ] i normally 3bet this pf but given your ine check raise flop then bet turn. fold to aggression? I havent check stat sorry LOL [/ QUOTE ] Do not 3b this preflop. You are probably behind his opening range and his calling range has you absolutely crushed. [/ QUOTE ] your right I misread the board. didnt see utg as the raisor only saw btn as attempting to steal blind. |

Re: TPGK vs tag OOP
Thanks all, I definitely agree that I should have folded preflop and i agree that 3betting preflop with KQ is no good.

[ QUOTE ] pf is fine 80%+ of the time. c/r flop to like 3.75...if he raises ur behind if he calls i would think its safe to assume ur behind... [/ QUOTE ] So why do you want to c/r the flop? [/ QUOTE ] so ur not stuck in this decision after the flop...if he double barrels (like he did), we still have no effing idea where we are at... |

Re: TPGK vs tag OOP
Folding this pre-flop is very standard.
Check raising the turn sucks. I probably call and fold if he bets the river strong. |

[/ QUOTE ] Playing suboptimally in order to minimize the degree of difficulty of our decisions is not something I would suggest people do. Raising for information is just about never a good thing to do in NL holdem especially playing with ~100BB's. And btw just calling his flop and turn bets will be about the same amount of money as check raising the flop would be....and by just calling both bets you keep his range wider whereas when you checkraise the flop he is pretty much only continuing with hands that beat you. KQ has some showdown value here so we don't want to make it a bluff. And if you are gonna check raise the flop here you might as well checkraise it with 32 as well. |
