Comparing Strength\'s and weaknesses of Cardrunners and Pokerxfactor
Hi, I'm looking into either getting cardrunners or pokerxfactor. I'd like to hear some peoples opinions on the strengths and weaknesses of both sites. I am looking to get it more for the mtt aspect of it which I guess means that pokerxfactor is more suitable. However I like the fact much better that on cardrunners it is the actual video and not just rerecorded afterwards. Anyway i'm just looking to get peoples opinions on what they like and don't like about each site.
Also it looks like you can buy individual videos incase I want to try it out before I get a subscription, does anyone have a recommendation on a really good video to test? I heard that actionjeff's videos were really good. thanks for the input. |

Adanthar's videos (all MTT so far) are SICK good. I'd definitely recommend trying them out. However, two (out of 6 total I think, he hasn't been with CR that long) of his videos are just a replay of the hands that he played, but I think it worked very well.

If you want MTT go with pokerxfactor, of course CR does have mkind.
That mkind comment was a joke, btw. I think his videos are a running joke by CR. |

cardrunners uses the replayer as well for mtt's i believe and they dont have as good of a collection on MTT's as pokerxfactor...

Re: Comparing Strength\'s and weaknesses of Cardrunners and Pokerxfacto
Pretty sure both cardrunners and PXF both have some live mtt videos. I just let my pxf lapse and am sticking with CR, but I am not playing many mtts at all, so that's partly why, but I just like the better variety with CR, and they do put up a lot of mtt videos, at least 2 a week or whatever.

I've been a member of both and would say that PXF is really good for limit holdem and MTTs and runners is the nutz when it comes to all forms of NL. I can't say much about PLO as I don't play it.

Re: Comparing Strength\'s and weaknesses of Cardrunners and Pokerxfacto
My housemate has a PXF account and we both have CR accounts - he doesnt really use the PXF account and in general says it isnt as good.
The Adanthar vids are solid, and the old ActionJeff vids on CR are meant to be awesome too - i cant really recommend beyond that as ive not sample the MTT vids that widely. A lot of people hate on mkind. I have no opinion but im sure you will learn something - he gets a lot of heat but there are a lot of people who respect his play too. Also, rumours are CR is negotiating a top MTT player but thats just a rumour and its some time away. If you only want to learn MTT play and you only have to choose one site then PXF is likely the best simply because its a community built around MTT play (from what i can tell). But if you want to learn more than that, then id recommend CR with the likes of Adanthar, Brian Townsend, Taylor Caby, CTS, Schneids and the cult legend that is Jackal69 (in no particular order). TBH, i think the 3 CTS vids, the only Jman vid and the sizable back catalog of Taylor and Brian covers the cost of the sub easily. /shilling |

Re: Comparing Strength\'s and weaknesses of Cardrunners and Pokerxfactor
if you dont continue subscription of PXF for one month, but then want it again, you have to pay the 125$ setup fee again? This is what site says. . . . ? true?
