NL10: AQ makes full house on river
Villain makes a raise after playing the flop and fourth street weakly. Confusing.

Re: NL10: AQ makes full house on river
Reads on the villain? Does he 3 bet light PF?
Obviously KK/AK are possible, but you're not really folding a boat here, are you? With any reasonable chance he's 3 betting light, push push push! |

Re: NL10: AQ makes full house on river
I had lost a big pot to him earlier and he was playing VERY agressive against me. Second time he had 3 bet me. I don't think I can fold cuz my read originally told me 99-JJ, on the river I do consider a slowplayed AK..

What does pushing achieve? You're only getting called by another A or better.
The only thing pushing achieves is a higher rake. |

There is exactly ONE hand that beats you, which is 33. Shove.

Re: NL10: AQ makes full house on river
well I got the answers I suspected. I guess I have to just call here and plan on chopping. Would seem that I just got "outdrawn" for a split pot on the river.......Unfortuantely in the real story I just call and the villain had AK. Figures.

Re: NL10: AQ makes full house on river
That's poker. Make a note about his min-raise p/f, slowplay post flop and move on.

Don't really know why you didn't bet this flop...
Don't worry about the rake when you make this play. Shove |

Re: NL10: AQ makes full house on river
Kx could call a shove, read dependent obv.
He's representing a slowplayed AK, I'd think. But, KQ/KJ might also play it this way, especially if he's tilting at you. |
