Re: FTOPS 1 tough spot JJ oop
Considering your stack shoving pre isn't a bad option.
I'm basically not putting in 1/3rd of my stack here and folding unless flop is like AKQ all hearts or something. As far as post flop goes, i think you need to make your decision on the turn. The thing is if you call or raise his bet you have 2500 of your starting 4200 in there, and even if you jam turn it's for 1700 more, which i think i prolly would since he might have FD and he's rarely putting more money in on the river without an A anyway, plus a K/Q migh tcome which makes your life even harder. Edit: Also, Chewy brought something up i missed here. We should prolly just jam the turn once he checks back flop. |

Are you always checking this flop here? If so why, anyone?

Re: FTOPS 1 tough spot JJ oop
I raise a little more pre and just jam the flop.

Re: FTOPS 1 tough spot JJ oop
reraiseing preflop pretty much commits you to any flop like that. you can not call the turn if you are folding river

Re: FTOPS 1 tough spot JJ oop
Push preflop. As played push flop. You can't put 1/3 of your stack in preflop and then play JJ this timidly on the flop with one over.

Re: FTOPS 1 tough spot JJ oop
bet flop and fold to raise or shutdown to call if straightforward player.

Re: FTOPS 1 tough spot JJ oop
I like pre. I would check call the flop if he shoved and check call the turn if he shoved, but as played this line looks so valuey and I call turn and punch monitor and fold river.
