Re: 4 betting light, line check ..
fwiw, I wouldn't need a "huge" hand to call you down here. In fact, I prob. call you down 77+; A10+. I fold KQ. Secondly, I'm curious as to SB's range considering that BB only has 11K in his stack. Just thinking out loud, I still think it's a sexy play.

Re: 4 betting light, line check ..
I like the play alot. My only question is if you had AA what would your 4-bet amount be (or maybe you just flat call)? I mention this because you've assigned the villian a thinking image and I would want to take the meta-game into consideration.

[/ QUOTE ] Given his stack, raising to 20K here would essentially be the same as 45K, so I would probably just raise him all in IF I plan on raising. However, more likely than not, I would flat call and play a flop against him. He will likely think that I'm trying to float him with overs and if he in fact has overs or a midpair himself, he may fire away on another board. Then I can spring a trap on him. That's kinduv nice considering the pot is like 19K and he has like 35K remaining. I may do this with KK too, though it seems like an A has flopped in every goddamn [censored] situation I've been in during this spot for the past 2 weeks. Anything else, I RR AI, which makes sense, because if you were only RRAI with your weak hands, this play wouldn't work . Barry |
