Value Bet the River?
I checked the flop b/c there was a raise preflop, and I wanted to see what the turn would bring before I got alot of
my stack involved. So the question is should I have valued bet the river? Re: Value Bet the River?
Since UTG has only $1.7 left the action on the river isn't that important imo.
I'd bet the flop because you have blockers to the straight and are more likely going to make a flush draw or a set pay than getting freerolled. That also most likely allows you to push the turn. |

Re: Value Bet the River?
With this little money left on the river just bet. If there's a lot more left then I don't think this is a good spot for a valuebet.
Btw I'd lead the flop. Effective stacks are like 60bb so just try to get it in asap. |

Re: Value Bet the River?
Not even getting freerolled am I worried. I don't wanna see a set and flush draw to call. At .05-.10 I guess you can argue betting b/c alot of hands are gonna call you.

Re: Value Bet the River?
You're only in bad shape against someone who has both a set and a flushdraw. But you're not deep enough to worry about it.
If you get two callers then you may have to give up on the turn, but that's not a reason not to bet the flop. |
