99 in strange, tough spot.. plz advise
Not much of a read, but villain is a seemingly solid reg. He probably thinks the same of me.

Re: 99 in strange, tough spot.. plz advise
Thats a good turncard for you. When you call the flop I think your plan should be to get it in on a turn like this. If I dont know the opponent at all I usually fold the flop the first time. Its not a good flop for him to checkraisebluff and he mostly has a big flushdraw here.
The problem is that if he has a bluff or semibluff he will almost always fire the turn and you only burn money on the flop if you are folding here. All this asuming he is a regular though. |

cant really put him on a 4. TBH your assessment seems wrong? maybe unless he has 55 or 44, cuz what solid reg could take this line? I duno either way i dont fold 99 on this board to the action. I dont really care how you get it in at this point but dont fold. FWIW 76s makes sense so shove turn

Re: 99 in strange, tough spot.. plz advise
preflop stats would be really helpful here...fold turn though usually. a lot of players just don't ever flat unpaired cards from a UTG raise like that in the BB.
