Table image doesn't have a lot of impact at ssnl where you have tons of tables to choose from. This is mainly a high stakes concept where you play vs the same guys over and over again and don't have many tables to select from.

I'll rephrase, if you're properly table selecting it has little impact at ssnl.

Edit: This statement is apropos for online, live is very different.

I used to think that...but the more LAG you play, the more you see people reacting to your image (albeit poorly).

I dunno, I guess doing really donkish things would temporarily throw off a reg. But once he sees proper bet sizing, correctly playing draws, or other things good players do that poor players don't, his opinion is going to change pretty fast. Plus, on sites like FT with datamining capabilities, if I see a 20/17/3 with 2000 hands start doing weird stuff like that, I'm either gonna think:

1) His account is being used by someone else.
2) He's being tricksy

At the bare minmimum I'll be suspicious...I'm not going to start stacking off with bottom pair or anything.

It's important to remember you make your money off of the fish NOT the regs.

You're not getting close to the same giant edges you may have over a passive/insane aggressive high vpip fish as you do from bad tags.

Well, since 95% of the player base consists of TAGfish, then yes...my edge does come from them.
