Set facing a difficult river decision
OnGame Skin, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter BTN: $105.80 SB: $73.25 BB: $173.90 UTG: $95 Hero (CO): $147.50 BB posts $0.50 Pre-Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO) Hero raises to $4, 3 folds, UTG calls $3 Flop: ($8.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) UTG checks, Hero bets $6, UTG raises to $15, Hero calls $9 Turn: ($38.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) UTG bets $25, Hero calls $25 River: ($88.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) UTG bets $51 and is All-In Hero ??? Villian is a 20/16/3, solid TAG, haven't seen any crazy plays from him so I don't have any special notes/reads. PREFLOP: standard FLOP: I get check raised, but I call since I have position, 2nd pair and open ended straight draw. I put the villian on AQs, AJs, ATs, KQs, KJs, KTs, QTs, JTs, T9s, J9s, 98s, A7, 99, 88, 66, 55. Maybe but less likely a slowplayed TT+ or AKs. TURN: he bets 25 into 40, pretty weak bet. I was deciding here between shoving or just calling. I should probably shove or fold here. RIVER: He pushes the rest of his stack: $50 into a $90 pot. Tough decision time. On turn stove says I am 70%:30% vs his range, but I am not sure if he is capable of 3 barelling with everything that I beat on the river. |

Re: Set facing a difficult river decision
I raise turn and call river as played.

Re: Set facing a difficult river decision
not a nice spot. i dont think its so bad folding or calling this, i'd be leaning more towards a fold though, but he could just as easily be repping a big hand with busted flush draw

Re: Set facing a difficult river decision
His range on the turn is made up by FDs and sets imo. Only 9s and 4s I can see is 9xcc and some random T9ish semi-bluffs.
Why is hero in CO acting first pf and UTG acting last? |

Re: Set facing a difficult river decision
Converter messed it up I guess.
Results: I made a crying call and he had JTs for a busted draw. |

Re: Set facing a difficult river decision
shove turn, the only thing that got there is a few randomass gutters, but the board to still superdrawy so you want to get it in now
