Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines
[ QUOTE ]
I believe Arizona State was -18 in their game at WSU. [/ QUOTE ] No. [ QUOTE ] WSU beat UCLA by 20 [/ QUOTE ] How did I miss that? That's what I get for trying to cap the PAC-10. Well Sagarin has them 8.5 better so whatever. Hopefully they find a QB between now and then, lol. I had thought Cowan was healthy. |

Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines
How much do you think the Bama line will be bet up?
I agree Dawg24. We always play tough there. Will you be at the game? I will. Upper deck, as usual. A beautiful stadium though. How many yards do you think Moreno will get? |

Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines
Oops, guess you can forget that UCLA moneyline pick. I wouldn't touch UCLA with Cowan and Olson out. I still wouldn't be surprised to see them knock off Oregon if they get healthy though.

Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines
Iggymcfly,
What's your opinion on Ga Tech/Duke this week? As of right now, it's Ga. Tech -13.5. I hate betting on a team whose offense is so one dimensional and inconsistent, but if Choice is coming back this week, him + Dwyer getting more carries = pretty potent running tandem on paper. |

I believe Arizona State was -18 in their game at WSU. [/ QUOTE ] They were -9. If UCLA has their 3rd string QB starting this line should be at least 14. |

Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines
Cal +4
Cal has been reeling obv. but they have too many weapons to not right the ship. This seems like the perfect time playing at home against their nemesis. I think this game comes down to a FG. |

Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] See also: ASU v. Washington State. Whole forum on them at -9. You remember how that went - and ASU would have lost if not for a blown call. UCLA is considerably better than Washington State. [/ QUOTE ] I believe Arizona State was -18 in their game at WSU. At any rate, I wanted to point out that UCLA's current starting QB (Cowan) was in the hospital with a collapsed lung as recently as 24 hours ago, and Ben Olsen is still out with a knee injury. By the end of the game against Stanford UCLA was going with their #3 QB- turned wide receiver-turned #3 QB (Ossar Rasshan). Unless I'm missing some updated news, all indications are that this character will still be under center for the Bruins this Saturday. ASU at -6 looks pretty good. [/ QUOTE ] Rashaan didn't play until the WSU game last week. Stanford-UCLA was the first game of the year. Rashaan is also 4th on the depth chart. Olsen-Cowan-Thompson-Rashaan. Mcleod Bethel-Thompson (Thomas?) is a walk-on QB who was benched for poor performance. In one game, he played the the final quarterand threw exactly 0 times. There was one UCLA pass play in the quarter... a half-back pass. |

Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines
Austiger,
I'm a big Cal fan but I really think USC is going to blow Cal out. Cal has a ton of weapons on offense but the passing game is atrocious because Longshore is 1. not that good when healthy 2. still injured but trying to play through it The defense isn't very good, either. They should be starting Riley right now. Line really should be SC -7. |

Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines
My analysis for the Auburn/UGA game:
I believe with Groves being moved to linebacker that stopping the draw play that killed us last year should be easier. Also, stopping Moreno should not pose a problem, as Coleman is a much better run stopper than Groves. Our defense should hold firm. The team that scores 20+ will win. I predict Auburn 24 Georgia 17. If Cox can make two or three decent passes to Billings and/or Smith, we should do extremely well. |

Re: Week 11 NCAA Early Lines
On AForce -2.5, 2u -110 like everyone else from yesterday. May add up to 3.
Waiting to hear on Kyle Wright. AzzuSt is a must if 3rd stringer for UCLA is playing. |
