[/ QUOTE ] Staropramen totally owns thread and owns the other (and all good) czech lagers. I've only recently found it in the states but not in TN yet. This thread has me hopeful. Tsingtao was also a notable mention My personal contribution: |

[/ QUOTE ] The last three are spot on. La Folie is probably my favorite Flemish Sour Ale and Cantillon beers are awesome; my favorite being Lou Pepe Framboise. Chouffe makes some great stuff as well; in particular their Houblon Chouffe, a hoppy Belgian tripel. |

This thread has made it very clear that the only good beers are ones which, in fact, no one buys.

Those big Grolsch bottles with the ceramic top used to be brown.

[ QUOTE ] Except bud light, I think my 3 favorite beers come in green bottles. Heineken light, rolling rock & stella. [/ QUOTE ] People admit to Bud Light being one of their favorite beers? Beer snobbery aside, Bud Light is [censored] disgusting. [/ QUOTE ] beer snobbery aside my ass. bud light is not disgusting. it is a joke of a beer because it tastes like water. water does not taste disgusting. it just lacks taste. heineken is a good candidate for disgusting in the lager category. |

First off, how can you not like Dos Equis? [/ QUOTE ] I dunno. It's all right, I guess, but... whatever. I don't think it's anything special and I don't buy it. [ QUOTE ] Second off, I always think of you when I see that "most interesting dude" dos equis commercial. Does anyone else think Nath is like that? [/ QUOTE ] Haven't seen it. |

[/ QUOTE ] not too impressed with Kronenbourg. It's the Budweiser of France, brewed with rice grains instead of 100% malted barley. Any beer that uses rice is not legit, imo. |

Re: Good beer in GREEN bottles does not exist
Although in fairness to the folks at Kronenbourg, they gave me lots and lots of it to drink after I took the factory tour in Strassbourg.
