10NL TT vs Loose Passive UTG raiser
Villain is 40/4/2.5 over 125, but when this hand took place was about 40/0//.5 over 100 as he tilted quite a bit afterwards.
Given that he was limping every hand in my experience, and was generally passive post flop, he limped QT in late position and let a non threatening board be checked down heads up vs BB for example, what are any decent options both preflop and post flop? P.s. This hand was totally read dependent, I would've been very comfortable raising or playing it harder versus the appropriate player ldo Full Tilt Poker, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LeggoPoker Hand History Converter UTG: $10.05 CO: $5.15 Hero (BTN): $17.35 SB: $5.60 BB: $4 Pre-Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T dealt to Hero (BTN) UTG raises to $0.35, CO folds, Hero calls $0.35, SB calls $0.30, BB folds Flop: ($1.15) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 (3 Players) SB checks, UTG bets $1.15, Hero folds, SB calls $1.15 Turn: ($3.45) Q (2 Players) SB checks, UTG bets $3.45, SB raises to $4.10 and is All-In, UTG calls $0.65 River: ($11.65) J (2 Players - 1 is All-In) |

Re: 10NL TT vs Loose Passive UTG raiser
ok preflop fine with those stats
flop is fine, too, you played for set value although i wouldnt mind a raise or a call, just to see what he does on the turn |

Re: 10NL TT vs Loose Passive UTG raiser
Sweet, thats pretty much how I felt about the hand as well.Ty for the input bro.
I'm curious as to how seeing a turn changes things, as I would feel my hand can't really take another bet on either an over or an undercard, given his stats. If he checks, it's still difficult to get a free showdown/find value. As a side note, this just shows how 'useful' a 100 hand sample is as villain choose 77 to go crazy on It's not so horrible given the board I guess, but it's one of the few hands that I beat that makes sense lol. This is interesting to note as it is possible he only raises pairs 77+ and AK and could easily have been having a relatively dry run over 100 hands, skewing the sample and the read. |
