Re: KT, I 3bet from sb

[ QUOTE ] Yeah I fold this PF too, unless he's been getting out of line with button raises, or I want to loosen a tight image and think he'll fold a lot. I'd rather raise a suited connector or pocket pair in that position though. You're pretty fubared on the turn. [/ QUOTE ] i agree, 3betting him with a SC is great as he will fold alot because he is a nit, and we can be sure where we are on the flop if he calls. that is if you have a tight image. i still don't like messing around with them too much, they make all there money off this kind of loose play [/ QUOTE ] no dif between sc and KT in this spot. once he called flop bet im done. also my image is very nitty |

folding preflop to an obv steal seems so weak, but ok [/ QUOTE ] this line of thinking is half the reason nits can make money. Also why would you open fold the turn is that a joke? |

Re: KT, I 3bet from sb
14/12 means he raises a lot of stuff on the button imo.
I like a call pf and then a bet out on any flop to take initiative. I find that players will fold if you just bet out on the flop and they dont' have anything. |

Re: KT, I 3bet from sb
I'd just call preflop. open folding does seem bit weak. like if it were an utg or utg+1 raise then sure but not to a button. i'd fold a low SC like 56s to this guy though and 3bet vs lags. anyway the reason KTs i play bit diff (KTs and QTs are the two i just call) from other SC is that it's strong enough to stand up on its own so u dont need to throw in the aggression oop like u do for the low connectors. this also would make this flop very easy to play (check-calling flop, and if the turn is the same u can check call all the way probs)
