EV question (set value)
My question is, How big must your opponents stack be for you to call a 3 1\2*bb raise, simply for set value alone?.
I'm mainly thinking of when opp opens in early or mid position and you call in late position with 22-77. I'm sure there is a mathematical threshold. Anyone know?. |

Re: EV question (set value)
You can use the 5/10 rule here. If villains bet is less than 5% of his effective stack its a call. If villain bets more than 10% you should fold, if you're playing for setvalue.
