Folding bottom 2 pair on draw heavy flop.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Button ($18.75) SB ($54.20) Hero ($85.60) UTG ($58.68) MP ($180.10) CO ($46.18) Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG raises to $1, MP calls $1, CO calls $1, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.50. Flop: ($4.25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) Hero checks, UTG bets $0.5, MP raises to $5, CO calls $5, Hero folds, UTG folds. MP is TAG'ish, can't remember UTG. I had intended to check-raised the flop but my hand wasn't strong enough to come over the top in a multi-way pot bet. If MP pushed I would've let go of my hand. Given the min bet and the re-raise to pot size I thought either UTG was either slowplaying a made straight or MP was going to severely aggro a strong hand. Either way I felt I was behind and going to be charged heavily to draw to my boat down the road so I let it go on the flop. |

Re: Folding bottom 2 pair on draw heavy flop.
This hand certainly would have been different for me. I bet that flop, 3/4 to 1x. That changes everything though. I don't like c/r on this type of flop with those cards.

Re: Folding bottom 2 pair on draw heavy flop.
Well UTG pre-flop minraised so I was expecting him to c-bet and then push him off his hand, or if he can't let go of overpairs I would've made him.
I also don't like leading this flop because a lot of players will bet / min-raise with a strong draw. However less players will push strong draws vs big checkraises. |
