Re: AA 300 bb deep .5/1
[ QUOTE ]
From villians pov we raised utg and cbet a raggy flop. This doesn't really narrow our range at all. I initially thought ugh 300bb deep no way I'm 3 betting but I think 3 betting is the right play. We need to define our hand better and charge villian if he's drawing. If we just call the raise and a diamond comes do we check/fold? Now that is weak. If we 3 bet to 50 and villian raises again then we can think about folding. If he calls then the rest of the hand is going to be pretty horrible but we have to assume we are ahead. We can lead the turn for about 60 and still fold to a raise. [/ QUOTE ] Thank you, i was just getting ready to say pretty much the exact same thing then i saw you beat me to it. We know nothing about villain here, he could be raising with absolute air and 3betting helps us figure out what his possible holdings could be, as well as starts to build a pot in which we are most likely ahead. |

Re: AA 300 bb deep .5/1
I think its sick you have no reads on button since you are both over 300bbs deep, that and the fact he ha miniraised your flop bet.

Re: AA 300 bb deep .5/1
would the average .5/1 player shove his nut flush draws or combo draws on the flop if we make it 50 to go?
would the average .5/1 player shove TT or A9 on the flop if we make it 50 to go? would the average .5/1 player fold a 9 here to a 3 bet, or a turn donk? Im trying to get a better idea of how bad the average player is. Some of the regs i have seen are fairly good, but I am very uneasy about getting 300bbs in here at any point postflop vs an unknown. |
