I'm Canadian and I'm going to Vegas for a week during American Thanksgiving - it was really cheap, so I'm worried there won't be anyone there playing poker over the holiday. Does anyone have any experience with this - especially which days around Thanksgiving will be least busy? That way I can plan non-poker activities during the slow poker times. Just in case it's relevant, I usually play 10/20 LHE in Canada, so would likely be playing 6/12 or 8/16 if I can find it.

Even if it's dead, Bellagio or Wynn should be able to hook you up with an 8/16 game.

I received comp/mailing from Bally's unlike any I've received all year. It's pretty juicy and that makes me think it's a slow weekend and they are trying to get people to come to town. That's just a guess. I've never been there during that time.

of course its a slow weekend, it is when everyone in america spends the weekend with their family. That being said, there will still be a ton of people in las vegas, just not as many on a normal weekend.

You will get plenty of action over this weekend. The only exception is Thanksgiving Day from about 9am to 5pm. After that, and before, the action is great.

"American Thanksgiving"? Ain't no other kinds that count. Limit games under 10/20 ought to be softesque.
