I assume when someone is going out of bounds and they dive forward with the ball, the ball should be spotted where it crosses the out of bounds line and not way up field if they land there? Because the Virginia guy was definitely short if that is the rule.

the ball can go out of bounds as long as you aren't down

Ultimately our performance year in and year out is very good...look at teams like FSU, Miami, Nebraska, etc to see why we should still be happy.
