I never checked this yesterday, but today, AP isn't listed on KGC's list of licensed sites:

http://www.kahnawake.com/gamingcommission/permits.asp

[/ QUOTE ]

And it is in the Google cache of that page.

Wow.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually I kind of figured it meant that their license was revoked, pending the audit, or something like that.

[/ QUOTE ]

If their license was suspended, wouldn't they have to shutdown all operations? Or am I thinking of something that would happen only if a license from KGC meant something?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, the KGC approved some regulations a couple weeks that, in effect, said:
[ QUOTE ]
in order to operate, all poker rooms in Kahnawake must obtain a license from the Kahnawake Gaming Commission

[/ QUOTE ]

Story on their site.

PDF explaining the newly approved regulations.

I can only assume that includes online poker rooms hosted at MIT.

I think Mason meant with regard to the site overall. I can agree with being cautious.

Someone just leaked to me that "Scott Tom is also sptom and potjacker on UB."

[/ QUOTE ]

sptom is used in an email on one of the AP spammer accounts as an email as well.

Absolute's site says the following:

[ QUOTE ]
“Tokwiro Enterprises Enrg” is a recognized Mohawk owned and controlled, gaming sole proprietorship, presently undergoing a licencing process with the “Kahnawake Gaming Commission” (“KGC”), which was itself established on the 10th day of Ohiarí:ha/June, 1996.

I have spoken to a few people who are high up and are heavily involved in this situation.

I have reason to believe this will end well, at least from the perspective of cleaning things up. It might hurt poker in the short run, but I'm strictly speaking from the perspective of people getting paid back, management/ownership/licenses being cleaned up, etc.

That's just my current belief at the moment.

If Absolute pays everyone back, then what? Do we just pretend like this never happened, how can anyone play at Absolute again after this?

maybe too early to tell, but will this include any sort of admission of guilt?

Interesting, I am 99% positive that they were there yesterday.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am 100% sure they where there yesterday together with ultimatepoker.com which is also missing. Ultimatebet.com is still there.
