1680 x 1050 native, any good for poker?
In the market for a new monitor, and most of the newer flat screens are now a wide screen format with 1680x1050 native res.
I currently play on dual crts that run at 1600x1200, and most sites can x4 tables per screen no problem. I am a Brit and a bit of a whore so I play on lots of different sites not all of which support tilling/resizing. I am worried by the narrow 1050 res and have looked for a flaty monitor running 1600x1200 but the ones I have found are older models that do not offer the features/competitive prices of the new breed of 22inch flatys. Any input would be appreciated. Ps. I did read the faq. |

If you're going to get a widescreen monitor, splurge for one that supports at least 1920x1200

Re: 1680 x 1050 native, any good for poker?
I've got a 1680x1050, when I bought it they had a 24 inch that was 1200 deep, would be a lot more functional than the one I have, but there is a decent price difference- if that is only a minor facter, then I'd definately go for the 24 inch.
