Turning Stone 500 max NL(5-5 blinds) this past weekend, came to table 1 hr ago and have not yet played with villian. Played with him night before, he usually plays 1k and 2.5K max...at least this weekend. He's been playing all night and it up to 3000ish.
Hero (800) is UTG with KK and opens for $25, villian calls, we're HU. FLOP: Jc6d4d. Hero leads for $35 into $60 pot, villian raises to $125....Hero? 3 betting flop seems spewy to me, b/c then if he shoves I can't call...Does anyone bet/call then lead turn? I know this hands seems very standard to some/most ppl, but with these stacks I didn't really know what to do. Thanks. |

call and c/r turn all in is pretty much the standard play here... if he doesn't ever get out of line you can call and c/f turn but vs anyone remotely aggressive it isn't a mistake to play for stacks here.

Do we have the Kd? Duck, do you still CRAI on a diamond turn?

Do not have Kd. CRAI on diamond turn seems really bad IMO.

I think I call the flop raise, check call a blank turn and check fold if he fires a river barrel.

Yea, Call and c/r a non diamond turn looks good. Obviously if you're 3 betting the flop it should not be with the intention of folding to a shove, but if he's really aggressive it's a very viable option. I'm c/fing a diamond turn here also.

I am villian here. Open fold is best play vs me oop.
