[ QUOTE ]
Probably not pole-worthy, so I'll just let whoever wants to respond do so: About how many rounds of golf have you played, and how many times has someone hit a shot where nobody saw the finish and the ball ended up in the hole? As a guess, I'll say I've played about 300 rounds of golf, and this has happened to me exactly zero times. [/ QUOTE ] I have played at least 2,500 rounds. 90% of the people I play with are single digit handicaps. I have seen it happen twice. Blind shots. And never on a par 3. |

I think it's happened a time or two, but I've played so many rounds I can't remember. The more I think about this story the more of an LOL it is. I'd feel for the woman's stupidity if it wasn't getting her all this worldwide press.

[/ QUOTE ] I've witnessed two holes in one - on the same hole, similar pin position - where nobody saw it drop. This is over 300-400 rounds in the last five years or so. Thing is, both happened early in the morning when it was still kinda dark, the pin was behind a ridge and one time it was a little foggy. We could see the ball heading at the pin - it wasn't like these were wacky bounce-off-the-trees shots - but couldn't see it go in. Neither one was mine, obviously. |

It's also made up. 17 holes in one. Seriously, if you're going to lie about something like that, at least make it believable. Maybe start with 5 or something.

Hell, I've only drained it from >70yds twice (both with a wedge between 90-110). |

Woman from story is an attention whore obv.
There is no way you have so many mystery hole in ones. I have no one in my time playing Golf, been close surely, but you need alot of those per hole in one. Two rounds in a rowe, i have been inches from holing my spoon on second shot, on the same hole. Weird but nothing i can brag about. |
