Bypass autoproxy configuration
I cant seem to connect to any poker client in uni. The university uses a autoproxy configuration and we each have a username and password when we want to open any site etc..
proxifier gave me a 10060 ( a timeout error) when not using anything.. I also opened the .pac file and tried inserting all the proxies available and testing them.. proxifier gave me a test failed error because the squid server does not allow SSL tunnel connection.. Help Anyone ?? thx.. |

Re: Bypass autoproxy configuration
Are there any other ports open that don't require the proxy? Can you send mail, play online games, use FTP, etc?
try going to start-->run-->cmd and pressing enter then type in telnet smtp.comcast.net 25 and press enter see if you connect or time out |

Re: Bypass autoproxy configuration
ok, a swing and a miss
let me think about how to trick the proxy configuration tomorrow. I'm not sure how restrictive it really is going to be. in the meantime, call the uni tech lab or whomever is responsible for the connection and tell them that you can't play counterstrike. Ask them why it doesn't work. Tell them you couldn't get on a FTP site either to upload your website. See what they say to feel them out. If they say that the ports are blocked then ask them what you can do. |
