Re: Poll: Most / Least like-able players at the WSOP FT
Yang wasn't yelling though. He was miked up so we could hear him but I bet most of the other players didn't make out what he was saying. I'm not a be religion guy but I have no problem if you think that brings you look. I don't care if you think worshiping Satan brings you look. They are both basically the same to me. But what I didn't like about Yang was his style of playing watching it live. But it worked. Put everyone on that table on tilt.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I don't really want to respond to all of this (because I'm probably wrong), but I don't really think it's that shallow to "dislike" Yang because I think he's a little weird (I suppose shallow is actually exactly what it is, but I think you get my point... maybe, if I have a point, not sure really). [/ QUOTE ] LOL...at least, I HOPE that was meant to be humorous... Maybe you need to write more...you know, with big words 'n' stuff... Make them believers, keyser...show them your power... [/ QUOTE ] What is wrong with you? Try being less acerbic in the future so everyone won't hate you. is that big enough? [/ QUOTE ] Oh, you speak for "everyone" now? Pal, I was making a joke about your previous "you guys write a lot" post, and commenting on what I thought was your humorous, ironic response about not being shallow. I meant that post to be a lighthearted compliment. It was never meant to be acerbic. That last sentence was a reference to some of the praying done at the final table, not a sarcastic comment about you. Apparently, what I took for irony and humor on your part was, in fact, genuine cluelessness... If my post was insulting to you, then I take responsibility for not being clear. It was not meant to be that, and I apologize. That said, nothing is "wrong with me", and "everyone" doesn't hate me, in spite of your sad attempt to speak for the masses. You, my friend, suffer from delusions of adequacy. And that, besides being true, was MEANT to be insulting. |

Re: Poll: Most / Least like-able players at the WSOP FT
lol, you're funny, and I mean that genuinely. You write with such a scathing tone. It's like you're a relic from Victorian England or something. (and fwiw my last reply was supposed to be funny but I missed that you were joking too. That happens when two people from different social periods interact.)

Re: Poll: Most / Least like-able players at the WSOP FT
Lucky for you that I don't even know what "acerbic" means...then I might have REALLY been pissed...
And I didn't realize how scathing the Victorian British were...except for that Jack the Ripper guy. He took scathing to a whole 'nother level... Gopher, Everett? |

Re: Poll: Most / Least like-able players at the WSOP FT
Yang is a donk, Rahme is a bigger donk, Childs is an idiot for showing QQ.
Kravchenko and Kalmar were the 2 most likable to me. I hated Kahn at the beginning but he grew on me. |

I haven't seen the full episode but Watkinson also had prayer from his wife check out this clip http://youtube.com/watch?v=m5iPwa5ROFc [/ QUOTE ] Yeah for some reason Watkinson's fiance seemed weirder to me than Yang. She just seemed more crazyeyed/fanatical/ pod-person-ish to me. "No weapon formed against you shall prosper?" WTF? But not sure why it bothers non-religious people so much. People pray to their god when they want something. That's pretty much why humans invented god in the first place. Doesn't matter if it's for a relative to be cured of cancer, for their team to win the Super Bowl, or for a 7 on the river in a poker game. All this talk about "praying while gambling is unseemly" is just silly. If you are religious and want something to happen, you pray. It's no different than a non-religious person rubbing their rabbit's foot or whatever. |

Rahme.. i hate that guy
Kenny Tran had him crushed with his AA against Rahme's allin push with 77 7 on the flop.. and then he keeps on going: " come on small cards, come on small baby cards" damn.. stupid grandpops donked his way in to the final table |
