Re: Screen layout for multiple tables?
For people with focus stealing problems, you can try TweakUI from Microsoft which I believe allows you to turn off focus stealing. Don't think it works on Vista though.

Re: Screen layout for multiple tables?
I've landed on playing two columns of three tables on my crap laptop. If I play more than 6 tables, I stack the extras on bottom right and never pre-act to prevent misclicks.

Re: Screen layout for multiple tables?
You know what makes me freeze-up and time-out the most?
When I want to drag a table to another part of the screen.. OMG its horrid. I have a Dell 20' flat screen 1600x1200 rez and like to fit 4 tables with no overlap. The lobby screen popping up after every table closing used to freeze me up but, I recently put the lobby in my top-left quadrant and never minimizing it and that freezing has stopped. So, now I put tables in the other 3 quadrants and three-table but, still when I want to pull up another table its instant yellow-screen of death for the three that are already on-screen. |

It's weird, I was using my desktop computer and stacking was working perfectly, I switched to my laptop and I'm having problems with the tables stealing focus before it's my turn to act. Might give cascading a try to see if it works any different. |
