$50 Hand reading ftw? AK in RR pot.
Villain in this hand is 12/10/4 over just 40 hands though so enough to know he's aggro and not stupid.
wtf just calls this flop? I'm not saying I should fold here at any point but against a competent player what that I beat is calling here given my preflop raise size? Re: $50 Hand reading ftw? AK in RR pot.
AQ for one - KK and QQ for another. People love to call that first bet with only one over on the board and then when another comes on the turn? they just don't believe most of the time. I SHOVE SHOVE SHOVE here all day and let the gods sort out the rest. I think you played this hand fine. What exactly are you asking? those stats over 40 hands mean nothing IMO - or very little at best. I am stacking here and oh well if he hit a set.....

Re: $50 Hand reading ftw? AK in RR pot.
I think that you need to stack off in this situation, but I could be wrong. I think that this is a big problem in my game; knowing exactly how much credit to give good players. I think that a decent player probably plays AQs this way against you. A player who is tight preflop and overvalues postflop could do this with KK, QQ, AQ, AT, but chances arent great.
The good news is that you probably had 7 outs on the river, JJ right? |

Just bad luck and I'll take it - maybe thats a leak in my game I guess. I just can't see getting away from this - i am winning this hand more than losing - IMHO |

Re: $50 Hand reading ftw? AK in RR pot.
The SPR for this hand is under 2. Even though it is a Reraised pot pf, this is an easy flop to commit to at that SPR.

Id say AK/AQ KK and QQ and JJ are most likely though I think JJ/88 shove flop and give you rougly 3-1 to call figuring the odds will keep you in.

Re: $50 Hand reading ftw? AK in RR pot.
I looked again and I would remove 88. If it is good player, he will insta muck 88 (no implied odds)
I cant image, he will just call flop with AK/AQ/KK. Then, i think he had: JJ |
