Re: WSOP on ESPN thread (10/9 - ME Final Table)

[ QUOTE ] Seat 1 - Raymond Rahme - 16.32 million [/ QUOTE ] I'm looking forward to some donktacular displays from this guy. Seriously, I have not seen one hand that demonstrates this guy is a good player. He strikes me as an oblivious calling station. The best example is the 88 hand vs. Ray Henson. You could call that a great call on the river. More likely, it was just a ridiculous play that miraculously turned out to be right. Seriously, what do you beat on an A-Q-7-7-9 board? Silliness. [/ QUOTE ] It gets WAY worse. The guy is clueless. |

[ QUOTE ]
my friend bet me that jerry yang will last longer than philip hilm. he contends that yang is playing really well and that he has good reading abilities, but i havent been all that impressed by him--plus hilm has nearly THREE TIMES as many chips. so anyway, lets go hilm! [/ QUOTE ] My money is on Rahme. So far he has looked like a world champion player with solid betting instincts and the ability to mix it up with the best of them. |

I predict that Lee Childs will be driven to the edge of madness in about 20 minutes resulting in an end of life.

Re: WSOP on ESPN thread (10/9 - ME Final Table)
It will be interesting to see how much of Yang's praying makes it on air. For those of us that watched it live, you couldn't avoid hearing his constant pleas to a higher power. However, the only hint we have had so far is that hand against Alaei, when Tran told him that praying isn't allowed at the table. We didn't really hear what Yang said, just Tran's reply.
