Re: Heroes Bitching Thread, 10/8/2007
so if Noah Bennett is painting #8/8, what's his power? Protecting his family?
Have there been any clues as to what Nathan and Peter's mom's power is? Or alternatively, do they all have no powers? I don't remember Hiro's dad having any powers either, so maybe they're just all special in a different way. What would Tazako's motivation to kill these people be if he is still alive and young? How did Peter end up in that iPod compartment and where did his necklace come from? Left caged and naked with nothing but a necklace and an identity box is no coincidence. It was all done for a reason by someone. |

I doubt Kensei lives hundreds of years to kill Hiro's dad. That plot is too weird and makes him too powerful, plus it seems out of character. Plus Ando has Kensei's sword.
Noah Bennett doesn't need to have a power to be in a painting. Nathan's mom and Hiro's dad had powers which have not been revealed. The writing in this series irritates me. Of all the episodes, the one I hate most is "Company Man," which traced Noah Bennet's backstory. If not for that ep, I would have quit watching by now. |

[/ QUOTE ] I really think West is some kind of plant by the company. They are trying to get at HRG and Claire by a different tactic aka undermining the family from within through Claire's feelings of resentment towards Noah. West just started talking about Claire being different from the beginning before he would have had any natural inkling of her power, intelligence, etc. |

They have super powered people, just grab the whole family. if you know where they are. So I doubt this is right. And to the Irish guy, Peter is shooting lightning from his fingers and you're worried about accents? If a character is from a country, their accent will be turned up to full blast even if they're from a town where they talk like Americans. |

How is regeneration at even that extreme level (which is still less than Wolverine in X-Men) comparable to Peter, Hiro or Sylar's powers?????? As for the sword, what does that matter? Maybe he decided after a couple hundred years he didn't want it anymore and gave it away or sold it. Hell, maybe it was stolen 200 years ago. Also, it could be as simple as changing his identify due to the whole not aging thing. Carrying around your trademark sword isn't a good way to change identities. |
