I'm fairly new to the table, and have been on a card run that probably makes me look like a maniac since I haven't shown anything down yet. I've been making lots of c-bets and flop raises with what turns out to be the best hand every time (big pairs, TPTK etc). Villain is also very LAG, having slowed down a little bit recently. His flop bet is his way of playing back at me, and he could either be on a weak ace, maybe a king, or maybe a FD or JQ or something like that. Can I value bet this river, and if so for how much? |

nobody?
Is anyone in the $3 rebuy really tricky enough to check a hand that beats me here? |

I'll give it a shot, but I'm a newbie. I would just check the river. I would not bet here, it might be a trap.

i also think check behind is the best choice here.
What kind of hands does he call with that u have beat. Even its a 3$ i don not think that worse hands are calling here so i see no value in a bet. |

Re: AKs for top 2 pair vs LAG; $3+R
Pretty sure he's not checking a flush/FH here, he might c/c with a flush/trips since the river paired the board and u have been so aggro betting this hand. If u can think of a logical part of his range (AQ;AJ, etc.) that can call 10-12K then maybe bet, but if u do it has to be bet/fold. I can't think of enough hands that can call down on this board that we beat, so i check behind here.

Well played - check behind on the river.

Bet 20k or so on river, call push.

Re: AKs for top 2 pair vs LAG; $3+R
Very tricky spot. Default is probably check behind, but in a 3R I can see him calling a bet with Ax here a decent amount. Overall, I think it's very close but I like a bet because I don't see much that you lose to except a flush draw & he donks that a lot on the river, whilst this + river call of a ~20K bet is a fairly "standard" line for 3R players to take with Ax. Having a table image of a maniac might be the thing that slightly tilts it this way, I certainly wouldnt need much of a read the other way to check behind.
