QK BB, 20+2 45
Button has just been moved to table. I have 1300 and he covers. BB = 100.
Folded to button, he raises to 350. SB folds, I shove for my 1300 in bb. Good/bad? Rank shove vs. call to CR all in on Q or K or draw flop vs. fold. |

I have 1300 and he covers. [/ QUOTE ] I think that u have to provide his stack size here...it matters (no pun intended.) |

Re: QK BB, 20+2 45
Stack size is nice, but would a stop n go work on a dry board here if he is also semi short stacked?

Re: QK BB, 20+2 45
Shove here is good but I think a stop and go would work and If it comes ace high and you miss, just fold. This gives you two ways to win, having the best hand on the river, or making him fold the flop. Also it means you prevent him suckin out on subsequent streets if you indeed have the best hand on the flop. I hate all pre flop poker...

Re: QK BB, 20+2 45
Shove is good, you have some FE (& it's probably better than folding whatever his calling range is assuming he's raising some normal amount from the button). Might SNG with say 900-1100 chips.
