Congrats,
BTW if I'm Zock and Rock there is like a 98% chance I'm raising everyhand.
That being said I think stars should stop the tourney.

yeah stars should definitely be stopping the tourney for at least 15-20 minutes if someone discs when its hu in a major tourney... probably longer

a while back i disced when i was hu in the bodog 100k and they paused the tourney for like 10 minutes until i got back on... i was pretty suprised, didnt think bodog even had anyone watching the fts.

Are you serious?

Everyone was talking about "how classy ZockNRock was" to have PS pause the tournament. (at his discretion)

While I do agree it was classy, I think it was more of "not a scumbag move", and incredibly standard. He would lose all respect in the poker community if he had blinded out lyerly

ya it was a pretty standard play for anyone with any decency.. I was d/c once during a thunderstorm in a 5 dollar tournament when I first started playing.. there was like 50 left and I felt like absolute [censored].. I could only imagine getting d/c with this much on the line

that said, I'm sure a lot of poker players would go for the jugular in that situation and blind him off as quickly as possible.

I strongly disagree for reasons I already mentioned. He was heads up in a WCOOP event. This wasn't some $20 FO. Stars support was standing by. Thousands of people were railing

Again, if ZockNRock (or w/e his name was) had blinded him out he would've lost ALL respect in the poker world - which is something that's difficult to earn and nearly impossible to get back.

adam,

i honestly couldn't give a crap about respek in the poker world.

i would ask for the tourney to be paused in that situation simply because it's the right thing to do, and because i would ask for the same to be done if i was the one disconnected. it doesn't matter if it's a wcoop event or a 5 dollar tournament.

interestingly, at a full table i have no problem abusing someone who is disconnected.

ya.. but by a lot of poker players, I mean the people who don't have a standing in the poker community and couldn't care less.. I'd expect a lot of random players to keep stealing his blinds with a chip deficit and so much b/w 1st and 2nd.. Maybe I'm too cynical, but money brings out the worst in a lot of people.

I'm sure of the regular members here though, like 95%+ would do the right thing
