But why push? Only push that hand if you know villain will call with his 8. I would prefer keeping the pot small, c-c turn and put in a valuebet on river, almost regardless of which cards hit the board. There is no sence in pushing around, as you are likely to have the best hand and have nice showdown value

I doubt he caught a straight on the turn, as he seems straightforward (fishy) and im not sure he would checkraise a draw.

If you believe you are best, i would just call this one down, letting him blow his stack w nothing
