need heads up help
I'm aware that these are bigtime luckfests at the end of turbos and that its optimal to push with a very wide range. Suppose this guy is pushing any two 50% of the time. Do I call with any top 50% hand here? If not, how low would my stack have to be (with the bb still t800) before I would call with a 40-60% hand?

Re: need heads up help
I dunno about you but I prefer to be the guy pushing than the guy calling. I suppose if he really is pushing any two this is a very thin call, but he is probably not pushing the very bottom end and I fold it. I just fed what I would call with into PokerStove and it turns out to be 47%, which seems about right to me.

Re: need heads up help
If he is pushing only 50% of the time, he is pretty tight and you probably should fold but it's close.
I call quickly against a standard oppononet (= pushing 85%+ here) |

Get SNGPT or SNGWiz - it really helps to get answers to questions like this.

Get SNGPT or SNGWiz - it really helps to get answers to questions like this. [/ QUOTE ] There's no need. Heads up CEV=$EV. The easiest way to consider this question is to say that both players have 3/10 of the prize pool and are playing for 2/10 (2/10 has already gone to the guy in third). OP has about 41% of that prize at the beginning of the hand. Any +CEV decision will increase that. |
