Re: Week 5 NCAAF Early Lines Thread

ND +21.5, 1u [/ QUOTE ] Troy -12.5/-105 1u CFB ytd 22-17 ATS, 0-1 ML, +4.95u using all dime lines. Losses of 0.1u on donk tease, and donk parlay not incl in above total. Feel free to subtract them as well. Even with winning week in Units last week [Troy ftw!] not happy with losing W-L record last 2 weeks. Have to relearn same lesson every year about not picking too many games in Sept. Miami could come out fired up about building on last week's win with extra 3 days off and thrash Duke 45-0, or play half-hearted like v FIU and win 28-17. Wright being healthy and back 100% would make a big difference for this team. |

Re: Week 5 NCAAF Early Lines Thread
Honestly, so many people are on USF that it's starting to scare me a little bit. I still think it's just the squares having no idea that USF can play with West Virginia, but part of me still thinks I'm missing something. Come to think of it, the last game with this much one-sided appeal to the internet crowd was GT over ND, so maybe we're all right.

Re: Week 5 NCAAF Early Lines Thread
BTW, this is a little off-topic, but does anyone know where I can find rankings for adjusted rush defense or adjusted pass efficiency defense where the numbers are adjusted for the offenses faced? I vaguely remember seeing these somewhere on the internet last year, but I searched for a while today and I couldn't come up with anything.

Re: Week 5 NCAAF Early Lines Thread
Adding a couple of first half bets:
ND +14 1H -115 Maryland +10 1H -115 FWIW I think the WVU line is about right. I'll think about betting USF if it gets to 7.5 again, but otherwise I think I'll lay off. |

I find this post very reassuring: [ QUOTE ] Can someone tell me why West Virginia is only a touchdown favorite over South Florida? What am I missing here? [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] is this another shot at me? Look here is my initial thoughts as I will do my research tomorrow. Florida is at home and have looked impressive so far. However, WVU is in the national title hunt. With Florida losing to LSU in a couple of weeks WVU will be one game away from the Big One. Plus this is a national game where they know voters will be watching. Plus the have some guys named pat white and steve slaton. I personally thought the line should between -9.5 and -12. |
