Central Banks drunken rant.
Ok so Ive just finished off some vodka that some dinner guests left from another night having allready polished off 2 bottles of red from the cellar.
So like I want to empaticaly tell the patronising insulting Acists on this forum that they have done nothing to make me sympathetic to their position due to the immutable its not what you say its the way that you say it iron clad archimedian point its just true face it law. However here come the central bankers running to your rescue. I mean, could they be takinf the piss more? Not without a catheter thats for sure. This [censored] is insane. .500 bp cut, are you [censored] kidding me? Hey lets solve the problme of inflation with more inflation. In Britain even worse, I mean actualy the [censored] piles to hight for me to spell it out.Its an everest of poo. But like this is like some kind of socialist capaytlism [censored] in reverse. We plan it out so that the super elite rich mc rich get even more rich but the rest of you hahahahhahahahhahahhahahhah pawned. We controll/make the money, can anything be more central planned than that? Oh well I just read what i tpyped and when thinging about it before typing it is seemed better but hey thats the drink for you. I just want to ask, how is this absolute arse raping piss take noyt obvious to everyone? Its not hard to see, 1/2 a percent cut in base interst rates is the most blatent display of motive I have ever seen in a "public" instition. PLease someone please supplu some economic metric that justifies this cut aprt from some ever so slightly negative in a meh way economic data. But hahahahahah loook, giving away money for 7 years and still meh sligtly negative metrices. Gonna get much much wotse. This [censored] actually gonna get so bad it sactrer me. Dont drink and dial. Re: Central Banks drunken rant.
The 50 basis point cut in Fed Funds and the Discount rate in reality don't mean that much. A series of cuts do though. Greenie cut 75 basis points in 98 after the LTCM implosion but that's all he did. It wasn't that long before he embarked on a tightening phase which ultimately ended in a recession. I believe the Fed Funds rate was 4.5% after the 75 basis point cuts in 98. IMO economy was stronger and there was a much higher demand for labor reflected in more jobs being created in the economy than now. Oil was also at or near rock bottom prices, budget deficits much lower, etc. so the US $ was very much stronger. I don't think you can lay a weak US $ on Bernanke but could be convinced otherwise. So I don't see this as being as inflationary as many people make it out to be. I think a lot of people are anticipating more rate cuts in the next several months but I wouldn't be too sure of that. Fed Funds rate was at 1% not too long ago and there was a lot of speculation about the threat of deflation, go figure.

Re: Central Banks drunken rant.
I'm just curious, when does the fed generally put rates back up? Is it when inflation starts to take off? Is it a possible outcome for inflation to start rising, the fed increases the rate, but the economy doesnt recover?
