btw, i missed the game last night, but couldn't find too much detail on this...what did milledge do anyway?? was it more of a 'fire my team up' or more of his usual idiot routine??

Idiot routine. He got a marginally bad strike call. Then popped out. Then flipped out. He will probably wind up getting suspended a game or two, ala Marlon Anderson. Idiot.

Can the Mets go 6-4 in these last 10? Not at this rate obviously. But if they can just manage to go 6-4 in these last 10 the Phillies would have to go 7-2 in their remaining games to tie them or 8-1 to beat them.

Yep, strike 1. Suspended 3 games. Milledge is appealing so he is back in the lineup tonight. Probably a good idea to delay this suspension especially since Green isn't playing tonight because of Yom Kippur.
Delgado definitely back, batting 6th. |
