Fold AA?
$1/2 NL at Borgata, I bought in for $200, and have a tight image. I doubled through twice on the same player, showing QQ and AA. The villian in this hand seemed to be an ok player. Earlier he limped UTG with AA and had K,8 catch up to him on the river. He was plenty pissed about his bad play of limping UTG with a big hand.
On hand in question, I have $975 and villian is at $425 or so. I have AA UTG+1. UTG limps for $2, I raise to $18. 3 callers behind, UTG calls also. Flop 10,8,2r. UTG leads into me for $30, I raise to $100. Everyone folds back to him, and he immediately pushes all-in for $300 more. He seemed very confident about his hand. Based on the earlier hand, I did not think he had KK or QQ, as he prob. would not have limped, and if so, would limp-reraise me. JJ was possible, maybe even A,10. It just seemed that he wouldnt make this play against a tight player such as myself with these hands. What do I do? |

Re: Fold AA?
How has villian been playing middle/low pocket pairs?
Just to clarify, is Villian sitting to your direct right? Since this guy seems limp-happy with big pairs, I wouldn't necessarily discount KK & QQ. |

Re: Fold AA?
Snap call. There are like 0 players live 1/2 who can b/3b with a set here.
