WCOOP TD2-7
MTT comunity thread:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...umber=12096162 Or you can gossip here. 649 entrants, significantly less than PL5CD--- no surprise there. $129,800 prize pool with $32,450 to first. WSOP 2002 prize pool (A-5) = $124,080 WSOP 2003 prize pool = $108,810 WSOP circuit 2006 (Tunica) prize pool (2-7) = $54,000 WSOP 2007 prize pool (2-7 rebuy) = $755,000 Is this the second-largest triple draw tournament prize pool ever? I think it certainly qualifies as largest field for a triple draw tournament. |

Re: WCOOP TD2-7
I'm out in an embarassingly low 402/649.
Liveblog here: http://markgritter.livejournal.com/410664.html Badugi and I got seated at the same table there (when mine broke) and at the same table of the 2nd chance. |

[/ QUOTE ] I exploited the hell out of Mark in the main, but haven't been able to much in the second yet. And now I just got moved away from him. I'm not sad. Out 250ish in the main. I think I was the last TD specialist. Not a good day for us, sadly. |

Re: WCOOP TD2-7
I was the shortstack ninja in the 2nd chance. So disappointing not to get anything going in either when I'll have to wait another year I guess to run another tourney. Still plenty of good duece players left. sandy is near the top.

I'm still in, but I'm currently enjoying that no one recognizes my Stars screen name as a TD specialist.

I'm pretty sure you're not the one regular I still recognize. Then again I've been out of the cash games (for [censored] personal reasons) at least since you started posting again. You could have been playing a lot and I wouldn't know. I hope you take it down so you have to tell your SN. |

I recognizebi-one, pstarfish, xtracey, octane, 3boris, pimaster, sandy, mcpeanut, bbqbowser as ppl I've played with. Some might not be that good, but are prolly better than the field.

Re: WCOOP TD2-7
Luckily, I went out before the bubble. So, my SN is safe.
I have been told that I don't play enough for people to recognize my screen name. *shrug* It's a good problem to have. I think the structure was actually fairly good, but anyone that lost 3-4 hands in a row was out. The play was scary bad. So, I'm kind of surprised that more regulars didn't make it further. Anyone think that playing super tight starting hands would work out better than a traditional cash game range? |
