Two hands from Borgata $2500 - can I find folds here?
Early level 1, 25-50 12k starting stacks
Young active player that I've never seen before limps UTG. I find AA in MP and make it 175, all fold except UTG. Flop T 4 2 rainbow. Villian leads for 300, I just call. Turn: 8 second heart. He checks, I bet 700. He makes it 2100, gut is saying to fold, but I'm really only afraid of 22, 44, or 88 here. Now what? River plan? Hand 2: I limp ATo in pos 50-100 level, flop 4 ways AxQcTc. I have 6800 opps cover. BB bet 300, UTG+1 raise to 1100, I? If call, what's turn/river plan? Thanks, Devo |

Re: Two hands from Borgata $2500 - can I find folds here?
Hand 1: I raise bigger pf, but with 240 BBs that doesn't really matter all that much. I'm a nit but I often find myself folding to the turn c/r. I guess sometimes I call, then call some river bets on some river cards. Meh.
Hand 2: Overlimping ATo preflop sucks, IMO. Reads on BB/UTG+1? I'm tempted to fold this because live 'tards seem to limp stuff like AQ and KJ from EP, and they don't seem to play draws aggressively. You have to put them both on unrealistically favoriable ranges to make this call correct, imo. |

Hand 1- Your hand is so undereped and 'floaty' here i dont think i could fold turn. So yea call turn and probably fold to a big bet on the riv.
Hand 2- i fold and then try and forget the hand ever happened. |

Hand 1: As played hes making a fold pretty ez, raising flop would tell you more about where you are at
Hand 2: fold immediately |

yer i think i fold here. i see a set here.. from his position he calls ur raise and hits a set, bets into you, once you call he must hope ur chasing or floating or even hopes u have a big hand.. he checks hoping you bet and raises..
youve only put just over 1k into the pot.. for all those that are saying call.. how much r u calling on the river? |

Thanks, Devo [/ QUOTE ] Hand 1, I'd call call and call river. If he has a set, he's lucky. But he may also show AT,JT. Because we didn't raise the flop, he has no information about our hand. Hand 2, QT would also raise to 1100. Yes, KJ bets us but all others are behind. Call and see what BB does (he probably has a weak Ace or KJ). If he folds, let's hope to see a club on the turn to slow down UTG+1. You have a good position here, so call is fine. Once I decide to play AT, I don't fold in most spots here. But I won't raise to get me off the hand either. |
