Re: Any Full Tilt regulars on here? NL 200 and NL 100
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] mgr = monthly gross rake for every cent that is raked in a hand that you were dealt cards, your mgr increases by the total rake divided by the number of players dealt into the hand. your mgr is also affected by things like spending ftp's or for deposit fees or other things. then at the end of the month, your mgr is multiplied by your rakeback % and that's the $ you get. so, spending 400k points @ an mgr reduction of 0.5 cent per point (taking $2k off mgr) actually reduces what you otherwise would have received in rakeback by $540 at the end of the month (assuming 27% rb). still a great deal. [/ QUOTE ] Lets say I make $2000 in rakeback. if i buy the tv for 400,000 ftp points, $540 will be deducted from rakeback? so i will get $1460 in rakeback that month if i purchase the tv. Am i understanding this correctly? [/ QUOTE ] yes |

Re: Any Full Tilt regulars on here? NL 200 and NL 100
any thoughts on limping utg with AA? I personally hate it. My friend loves to do it. He says limping utg with AA is like flopping a set (whatever the hell that means). I think its better to raise with it cause u will get value for your hand everytime and thin the field in the proccess. If u limp with AA, there is no gaurantee someone else will raise. now u gotta play AA for a small pot multi way when it is limped. And if someone does raise and then u reraise, it's kinda obvious that you have AA. I think the best way is to raise, get it headsup with a big advantage rather than possibly getting it multiway, for a small pot, with a smaller advantage. whatya think?

It's good to switch your game up at times, so limping is sometimes okay. You could mix in a L/C and L/R here and there with A,A...but I would only try this on tables with a high PFR %. If you limp it be sure you are capable of folding it to heat postflop.

I often use this as a tactic (perhaps a little too much now) to counter the tables that have a ton of players who use aggression in position preflop. It's also helpful if you're at a table that has 3 calling stations. You don't want to be playing AA out of position against three people who could have any two cards. Biggest key is to know your opponents and to not take the same line every time. |

Anyone have good notes/reads/weaknesses for these 100NL players? Are any of them 2+2? These guys aren't really regulars, but I've seen them playing more often lately. danielburke ghen (I know him well from UB...just wondering if he plays the same on FTP) LessonsRExtra (same as ghen) sarawaka TheGoldStandard TheSnake-28 |

danielburke - 13/7/3.7; seems good, but often puts his money in when beat; c-bets everything, so raise c-bet
ghen - 14/6/2.3; again seems good, but doesn't fold when he should; value town him, he's not folding LessonsRExtra - 13/5/1.6; loves to get fancy (w/AA); usually gets his money in right; raises AJ from every position; stacked off with TPTK to obvious aggression sarawaka - 17/2/1.5 no notes TheGoldStandard - 13/10/2.3 opens almost all PPs from every pos; ABC poker TheSnake-28 - old NL100 reg, now at NL200; if he's betting, you're beat |
