Default 2/4 99 oop

Normally i'd 3 bet but villain was playin tight 14/6 over the 40 hands i'd played with him. I called the flop with the intention of betting a safe turn... is this the best way to play the 99 in this situation? Or should I just fold to the flop cbet?

yea wow, didn't read your "plan" to donk a safe turn. Not good vs a guy who only raises 6% of his hands pf.

40 hands is not much. I would 3-bet pre a fair amount of the time but calling is fine as well.

I prefer just folding the flop here. c/r is better than c/c with intention of betting turn imo.
