Is this an easy call, or nowhere near?

Thought about it for a while, used some extra time up, but eventually folded. |

Re: Is this an easy call, or nowhere near?
I don't think it's a super-easy call. It's certainly tempting. Your hand, though good, isn't stellar (no nut flush draw and the 2 pair are pretty weak, plus the diamonds somewhat negate your straight draw). It depends a lot on how your opponents are playing, did you have a good read on them at all?
One thing to keep in mind is you aren't heavily invested in the pot, and it's likely there will be a point in the near future where you can get your money in with more confidence. So at the very least I would say folding isn't a huge error, whereas calling could have been (depending on what you were up against). Your hands were sort of tied, being out of position. |

Re: Is this an easy call, or nowhere near?
I might have led out on the turn to try to get nut flush draws or possibly better 2-pair hands to fold. Depends on whether I think opponents lean towards calling too much, though - against chasers I like your line better.
But with no raise, I think the fold is fine; with so many callers I would assume that my flush draw and FH outs are no good. Turns out not to have been the case here, but most of the time I think your outs are too thin to call. |

I cant fold there getting 3-1. I didn't look too close, but iirc you were getting 3-1.
Granted, often one of your draws is dead, either your two pair is against a set, or your flush draw is against a bigger flush draw, but imo you've got too much going on in this hand to fold. It's a high variance spot, it's close, but it's a call in my book. -Tex |

Re: Is this an easy call, or nowhere near?
I would've bet the pot on the turn. Check/calling is a much worse option imo.
