(other than allow villian to play "perfectly" in a big pot against us, give away our range mostlikely, and allow worse hands to play perfectly as well). |

I never really thought of this so thanks for bringing it to my attention.
The only thing it really does is help us not lose a big pot because he's so nitty. It also helps protect our hand against pocket pairs and SCs by cutting down his implied odds. I'm probably wrong, but you're making a case for just calling AA here as well. I assume you don't do that. |
